PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a strong, stiff and hard polymer that produces a fabric with excellent friction and wear properties. Filters made from PEEK and ideal for applications where high temperatures or aggressive environments prohibit the use of more traditional polymers. With the exception of concentrated sulphuric or nitric acids, PEEK is extremely resistant to a wide range of chemical environments even at elevated temperatures. PEEK fabrics can be used for thousands of hours in steam and high pressure water without significant degradation in properties, and are especially useful when process temperatures exceed the limits of conventional PA, PET, or PP fabrics. Applications include automotive and biodiesel fuel filtration, high pressure liquid chromatography, membrane spacers and supports, pharmaceutical production, and due to its inertness and biocompatibility, as implant material. Melting temperature: 633F (334C). Working temperature range is 176 deg;F-302 deg;F (80 deg;C-150 deg;C). Also available in 64 inch wide rolls and in special lengths by the linear foot.

Polyester Screen cloth: Unaffected by most solvents, Polyester PETP (Polyester, Polyethylene Terephthalate) has good resistance to strong acids at room temperature and resists weak acids and alkalies even at high temperatures; strong alkalies can weaken it. UV resistance is good, but it tends toward a slight loss of tensile strength with prolonged exposure to sunlight. Lacks good hydrolysis resistance, but retention of properties after gamma radiation exposure is good. Deformation under low stress is minimal, but it can deform under high stress.
